Internship at DESY
DESY promotes young talents
DESY offers internships for school students and university students at both research locations in Hamburg and Zeuthen. The available placement areas are those that can be selected on our form.
Please apply 8 to 10 months before the start of your internship with us. Unfortunately, we cannot consider applications outside this period.
Required application documents and details for a application
- Completed questionnaire for internship applications (required)
- Cover letter specifying the type of internship and any existing knowledge and skills
- Curriculum vitae
- Current academic transcript
- Students: Certificate of matriculation
- Compulsory internships: Applicable school requirements or, for students, the relevant university regulations for a compulsory nternship
How do I apply?
Interested candidates can submit a application by email to praktikum@desy.de, attaching the completed internship questionnaire. We will then assess on a case-by-case basis whether a internship is possible and, if so, in which area.
DESY aims to significantly increase the proportion of women in scientific and technical fields and therefore strongly encourages girls and women to apply for internships.
