Vacuum Lab

The Vacuum Lab offers school classes in grades 5 to 10 the opportunity to spend a day studying the practical and theoretical aspects of air and vauum. During the independent experiments, the pupils develop the ambition to get to the bottom of physical laws. At the same time, they experience the fascination of research. Without the pressure of time and marks, they discover how exciting and interesting physics can be.

The vacuum experiments are set up and carried out independently in small groups of two to three students. Handouts describe the setup of the experiments. The students write down their observations and try to find an explanation for the observed phenomena. For this purpose, a small portfolio and library is available. Don’t hesitate to ask one of the supervisors, they are always happy to give a helping hand and advice.
