DESY Hamburg announces a Fellowship Programme
for young scientists
in Theoretical Particle Physics.
The research programme of the DESY Theory
Group includes QCD at colliders; heavy flavor physics;
Higgs physics and supersymmetry at colliders;
physics beyond the standard model; neutrino physics and cosmology;
axions and other nonstandard light particles; string theory;
gauge-string dualities; mathematical physics, esp. integrable models.
DESY Fellowships in Theoretical Particle Physics are awarded for two years.
The salary for the fellowship is determined according to the contract
rules for
public service (BAT II a).
Interested theoretical physicists,
who have completed their Ph.D., are invited to send their application
including a research resume and the usual documents (curriculum vitae, list of
publications) by December 10th to:

or to one of the senior scientists. Applicants should also arrange for three letters of recommendation to be sent by the same date to the address given above.
Handicapped applicants with equal qualifications will be preferred.
