Space Pants
Another very common application of vacuum are space pants. Caused by zero gravity in space, there is more blood in the brain of an astronaut than on earth. This is one reason for space sickness. Russian scientists developed a pair of pants, which built up a vacuum on the legs of the astronaut. The blood pressure condition of the human body hence adjusts like on earth.
