   Short description of the project the student should work on  :
   
   Identification of pileup events
   We want to investigate kinematic correlations to identify pileup events
   using data recorded at CMS as well as MC simulation. We want to investigate
   pileup events in the central tracker as well as in the forward calorimeters
   were we have no tracking information.
