   Short description of the project the student should work on  :
	The student will participate in a project that aims to measure the Lorentz angle on ATLAS silicon microstrip sensors for ATLAS phase 2 upgrade. For this measurement, we are using miniatures versions of the current test sensors. The sensors are read out with an Alibava analog readout system, based on Beetle readout chips. The Lorentz angle measurement will carried out for both non-irradiated and irradiated sensors to study changes of the Lorentz angle with irradiation. In order to keep to avoid unwanted annihilation of the radiation damage effects, the irradiated sensors will have to kept at a temperature of about -20 degrees. The student will work on the temperature effects on the calibration values of the Beetle chips in the Alibava readout system and the miniature sensors, using a radioactive source.

	The project consists in data taking using an Alibava readout system and the
analysis of this data using C++ and ROOT.
