   Short description of the project the student should work on  :

The modern tracking detector R&D requires tests in the beam of high momentum charged particles.
The testbeam infrastructure incorporates a pixel beam telescope as the high
resolution track pointing tool, 
which aids with the track position estimate at the device under test. 
The development of the pixel beam telescope for the ATLAS R&D groups includes a sensor-chip assembly, 
which is based on the FE-I4 chip developed for ATLAS IBL. 
The calibration and operation tests of the sensor-chip assembly are needed for the pixel beam telescope with the fast readout based on the National Instruments PXI express bus.
