   Short description of the project the student should work on  :

   The DESY Grid Centre is operated in the context of the EU project
   EGI and hosts a number of global Virtual Organizations, incl.
   ATLAS and CMS as a WLCG Tier-2 centre.
   The summer student's work will be located in the DESY Grid team
   and will be dedicated to computing aspects on the system level,
   such as batch systems and monitoring.
