Traditionally, the PDF functions are given in interpolation table form. Every PDF fits have their own table and a simple FORTRAN routine reads the table and does the interpolation. The drawback of this approach is that we cannot use more than one PDF table simultaneously. But sometimes it would be useful. For instance, we want to calculate the 3-jet cross sections at NLO for LHC. This is a hard and long calculation even with one PDF {function;} in some cases it requires days of CPU time. Of course we donÕt want to repeat 40 times when we study the PDF uncertainties, we want to calculate the cross sections for the 40 PDFs in one run. This package provides a new interfaces (C and F77) to the CTEQ PDF tables. These interfaces use the original CTEQ tables but the interface is implemented in object oriented way both in C and Fortran.} maintainers Zoltan.Nagy@desy.de license unknown categories science version 1.0.4 portarchive science/cteq-pdf.tgz revision 2 nlojet++ 905 variants universal depends_build port:gcc45 portdir science/nlojet++ description {Calculating NLO leading cross section in particle collisions} homepage http://www.desy.de/~znagy/Site/NLOJet++.html epoch 0 platforms darwin name nlojet++ long_description {NLOJET++ is a C++ program for calculating LO and NLO order cross section. The core library computes the Catani-Seymour dipole subtraction method (actually a slightly modified version has been coded and the original dipole scheme is its special case) at very abstract level and the various processes use this general framework. The current version of the program can deal with e+e- annihilation, deep inelastic scattering, photoproduction in electron proton scattering and with various processes in hadron-hadron collisions.} maintainers Zoltan.Nagy@desy.de license unknown categories science version 4.1.3 portarchive science/nlojet++.tgz revision 2
