I'm member of the DESY group -ZM1-, the "Zentrale Konstruktion" (Central Design Group), located in Building 10, Rooms 300a to 300d.

As designer at -ZM1- I am currently working on:

  • Structural analysis and optimization of components for the XFEL project with I-DEAS FEM and other programs.
  • Quality assurance for the planing of civil engineering for the XFEL project. Documentation and administration of XFEL Workpackage 31.
  • A complete 3D-model of the XFEL components.
