Dear Colleagues,

With this note, we would like to call to your attention the mailing list
lcd-l, whose subscribers are the members of the American linear collider
physics and detector community. This list is used to announce upcoming
meetings of the LC group, detector R&D grant programs, new releases of
simulation software, and similar topics of interest.  Subscribed members 
can also send an announcement of general interest to the group by sending 
email to

                 lcd-l@slac.stanford.edu

This message is being delivered to all registered participants in
the recent University of Chicago Linear Collider meeting. We apologize
to those of you already on the mailing list. We hope that this 
mechanism will be a useful way to exchange information about the 
American linear collider physics and detector program and we encourage 
all interested individuals to join. If you know other people who would 
like to be included, please let us know.
