2nd Joint ECFA/DESY Study on Physics and Detectors for a Linear Electron-Positron Collider

Detector Workshop
10 July 2000 at CERN

    Start meeting: 10 July 10:00 h
    End:

General remark:

This meeting will concentrate on TDR matters, but
we also expect contributions on R&D news for, probably, Tuesday afternoon.
As soon as have your feedback on what everyone wants to present, we
shall send out the preliminary agenda with rooms, etc., as ususal.

Topics related to the TDR are:
        -Magnet design.
        -Infrastructure/assembly.
-Presentation and discussion of the overall layout of the
                  detector part.
-Presentation and discussion of each subdetector section
                  and R&D news from the subdetectors;
each subdetector contact should organize his
part, and the final agenda will be put together

before the meeting at 9:00 on Monday.

If needed, there can be subdetector parallel
sessions to clarify/streamline topics to be included and to assign
writing tasks.

If you haven't done so, please let us know if
you are coming, and we hope to see as many as possible of you there,
so that we can finalize the layout.

                       Best wishes,

         Rolf (rheuer@mail.desy.de) and Ron (settles@mppmu.mpg.de)
