2nd Joint ECFA/DESY Study on Physics and Detectors for a Linear Electron-Positron Collider

5/6 July 1999 CERN - Meeting on Detector Concept:
"Towards the final TDR-Detector"

    Start: 5 July 10.00
    End: 6 July 18.00
Place: Conference Room in building 40, room 40-SS-C01 for both days

    Local organization: Marco Battaglia

    Marika Flygar (Marika.Flygar@cern.ch
    or phone +41 22 767 3027, fax 767 3600)
can be contacted for logistic needs.

Goal:
This meeting will review the status of the detector concept and prepare for the decisions to be taken at the October workshop in Obernai. During the meeting we need to derive a list of topics (with names assigned) to be studied before October in order to reach this goal.
The first part of the meeting (Monday plus part of Tuesday) will be devoted to presentations and discussions concerning the detector CONCEPT. Presentations on detector DEVELOPMENTS are foreseen in the second part of the meeting.
Format:
Plenary presentations and discussions
Agenda:
The program is pretty loaded and we have to allow enough time for discussions. Therefore, all presentations should be short and concise (15', unless otherwise indicated).
Preliminary Agenda Start: Monday, July 5, 10:00
