--- EBL lower-limit ---
This model was developed to fit the lower-limit data from
number counts and stacking analysis. This is a 2D matrix giving the EBL value as a function of redshift (rows) and wavelengths (columns)
An EBL flux below
this model would violate observations of galaxies and sta formation.
This model leads to a
guarateed absorption due to photon-photon pair-production in extragalactic
gamma-ray sources.
Note that the model is still the same as described in Kneiske et al. (2002, 2004).
The parameter choice is the following:
SFR_opt = (3.5, -1.2, 1.2, 0.07)
SFR_IR = (4.5, -1.0., 1.2, 0.06)
f_esc = 0.
c_2 = 1e-24

--- Best-Fit06 EBL---
The best-fit 06 was developed to take the new SPITZER data and the H.E.S.S.
upper limit into account. The warm dust component had been choosen for
a more realistic dust spectrum. Data are still not available in this
energy range.
The parameter choice is the same as in "Warm dust model" except for
the normalization of the SFR:
SFR_opt = (3.5, -1.2, 1.2, 0.08)
SFR_IR = (4.5, 0., 1.0, 0.09)
f_esc = 0.
c_2 = 1e-23.4

If using this model please refer to the paper Kneiske et al. (2002) or Kneiske et al. (2004) writing a setence
on the parameter choice for this special EBL model. It is also described in Kneiske 2008 (Kneiske 2008, ChJAS, 8, 219).
