NEW : Post-Doctoral Position for Top Quark Physics at CMS / Pixel Detector Upgrade for CMS

we are seeking for

an excellent scientist (F/M), Ph.D, with profound skills in experimental particle physics.

You will make significant contribution to the physics analysis at the CMS experiment
with the emphasis on top-quark physics at the LHC. In particular participation in
the measurement of the cross-section in the dileptonic channel and the determination
of the top quark mass is foreseen.

You will also participate in the pixel detector upgrade for the SLHC Phase 1.

Profound knowledge in experimental particle physics is expected.
Experience in data analysis and /or simulations is essential. Programming skills in C/C++ are expected.

The position is limited to 30.04.2013 and is located in Hamburg with temporary visits to CERN
