0.9.1.6. Fake "C pre-processing"

• 1. The relevant commands would start with `##' (to avoid confusion w/ the real thing); hence, `##if', `##endif', `##define', `##include', etc.

• 2. (Very important.) This pseudo-C-preprocessor does NOTHING inside:
  • 3. • Code environments (and the Bird-track equivalent).
  • 4. • Verbatim environments.
  • 5. • `\tr' and `\pl' commands (and any friends they may have).
  • 6. • `rawlatex' environments (next section).
• 7. All of the current dubious `only<this-or-that>' environments and so on would go away; what you currently write as:

• 8. `##include' would take the place of the current bogosity `\inputnow'.

• 9. `##define' would take over from the current emasculated `\define' and would emphasise the point that this literate notation is a fixed notation, lacking general macros.

• 10. Running this or that program would pre-##define certain symbols (e.g., MK_LATEX), but I don't know exactly which just yet.

• 11. Using ##defines and ##ifdef'ing easily generalises the "standalone/partofdoc" dichotomy (which badly needs generalising).
