At this time, this option is only suitable for printing drafts.

What is actually done: the output LaTeX-file consists of the pre-amble (really: everything before the first `\section' command -- not quite what you want), the subtree you asked for, and `\end{document}'. Your section will be numbered `1' no matter what.
