The course offers four series of lectures on various topics of current research in string theory. Knowledge in String Theory at an introductory level is assumed.

• P. Mayr (CERN): "N=1 Special Geometry"
• C. Schweigert (Hamburg & Aachen): "D-Branes and CFT"

Travel expenses can be reimbursed up to EUR 150 and accommodations up to EUR 20 per night.

The participants are expected to give a short (10 minute) blackboard presentation about their own research.
