PIER Innovation Talk: Founding a High-Tech Startup - Lessons to be Learned

Dr. Karl Eberl (PIER Office & CHyN)

What does it mean to start a high-tech company? Which are typical pitfalls when moving from academia to business? These and other questions will be addressed by Dr. Karl Eberl, founder of a nanoscience spin-off from the Technical University of Munich (TUM) that has grown into a successful company. Join us for a get-together after the talk, discuss further questions with the speakers and meet like-minded fellow researchers. Free refreshments and snacks will be provided. To facilitate our planning, please register by email until Thursday, 30 January 2020 (info@pier-hamburg.de).
