Yang-Baxter deformed superstrings and AdS/CFT

In recent years a number of new integrable deformations of strings on symmetric spaces have been found. I will give an overview of these models, discussing their status as string theories - some of them are, some are not - and their interpretation in AdS/CFT - they are generically dual to noncommutative field theories.
