Short summary:
--------------

1) Shutdowns '99

  a) Xmas  : 21.12. 6:00 - 6.1. 22:00
  b) spring: 3.5. - 12.6. (6 weeks)
  c) 2nd half of year: extension of monthly maintenance days to 64h
                       mini shutdowns for HERA-B installation proposed
                       (to replace 5 week fall shutdown) 

                       
2) Luminosity upgrade shutdown: 2 scenarios

  a) November '99, 9 months
  b) Spring   '00, 9 months
  
   All parties involved should make a realistic schedule and not count 
   on an second long shutdown a few years later!
  
   Decision on next coordination meeting with additional input from 
   HERA-B.
   

3) Running strategy

   During the ongoing background studies the HERA-B target wire 
   operation will stay unchanged (insertion after lumi tuning), 
   later longer 'target times' should be possible.
