Highlights of the NuFACT'00 Neutrino Factory Workshop

The NuFACT'00 workshop in Monterey, USA, May 22-26, 2000, was the 2nd
workshop in a series devoted to studies towards a Neutrino Factory 
based on a high intensity high energy muon storage ring. The main goal of 
such a facility is a high precision study of neutrino oscillation 
parameters. It can also be regarded as a first step towards an even more
ambitious Muon Collider project.
The workshop will be summarized, and some highlights concerning the 
progress of machine studies, the physics potential, and potential sites and
detectors will be discussed.
