relevant to accelerator physics simulations as well as machine controls.
This will include the following topics:
- Electromagnetic field calculations
- Accelerator optics and beam dynamics codes
- Collective effects
- Energy deposition calculations and machine-detector interface
- Start to end accelerator simulations
- Control systems and on-line accelerator modeling and diagnostics
