jHepWork is a full-featured multi-platform data-analysis framework written in JAVA which is seamlessly integrated with Java-based Linear Collider Detector (LCD) software concept. It consists of a powerful Python/Jython friendly IDE with a code assist and FreeHEP-based libraries for common operations with data (histogramming, fits etc). Difference between C/C++ and Java software concept in HEP is discussed.
