g-Eclipse - user friendly access to Grid and Cloud infrastructures

g-Eclipse is a user friendly graphical user interface for accessing Grid
and Cloud infrastructures which builds on top of the widely known Eclipse
platform.

g-Eclipse currently supports the gLite and GRIA Grid middlewares, as well
as the Amazon Web Services cloud computing offer. It provides a wide
spectrum of functionality ranging from job and data management to scientific
visualization support. The data management component enables a seamless
interoperation of the storage access across different middlewares, allowing
for drag and drop moving of data between, for example, gLite and Amazon S3
storage.

g-Eclipse can also be used as a library by software developers to grid-
enable their applications.

In this seminar we will demonstrate the tool online, accessing the gLite
and Amazon Webservices infrastructures.
