Bioinformatics applications on the Grid

Besides High Energy Physics,  Biomedicine/Bioinformatics are EGEE pilot applications.  
We will give an overview about the Bioinformatic applications, for example a 
bioinformatic portal providing  protein structure algorithms executed  on EGEE, 
a radio therapy planning simulator, a clinical decision system.  
The institutes IN2P3 and SCAI did some stress test of the EGEE infrastructure in 
EGEE with "Wide In Silico Docking On Malaria". 
We will introduce the application and their extension for reranking with Molecular 
Dynamic Methods in EGEE-2.
