Invitation to join the DORIS DAYS
The DORIS success story began about 40 years ago and it yielded an immense diversity of scientific applications and insights. Beginning of 2013, DESY shut down the accelerator, but the “DORIS era” still has an impact on research. Generations of scientists developed and tested numerous experimental methods, innovations and technologies at DORIS, which meanwhile have found application in science and industry all over the world. Only a few large-scale research facilities throughout the world have such a long and successful history of science. We cordially invite you to join the DORIS DAYS.
The programme represents the multifaceted significance of the accelerator facility for science, economy and society.
