The subject of this mini workshop has been the modeling of coherent synchrotron radiation effects in magnetic bunch compressors. Further information can be found on the workshop webpage.
The workshop page also contains the
transparencies of the talks, a
summary of benchmarking results, the
posters that where presented during the workshop
and some papers related to the workshop.
After the workshop (and based on discussions that occured during the workshop) we put together
a better list of parameters we want to compare
for the simulation results of the benchmark case of the workshop. Please
submit the corresponding
data obtained with your code and we will generate plots that compare the various programs.

Since csr instabilities have been a major topic at the workshop, we propose a new benchmarking case. The layout of the chicane is the same, but the input distribution has a flat top with gaussian rise and fall and small periodic modulations.
