2nd announcement

The X-96 conference will be held in September 1996 in Hamburg, Germany.
The conference is organized by HASYLAB (Hamburger Synchrotronstrahlungslabor) at DESY (Deutsches Elektronen Synchrotron) and the University of Hamburg (Chairman B.F. Sonntag).

The 17th conference of the series will serve as forum for discussing fundamental issues in the field of X-ray and inner-shell processes and the principles of their applications in various disciplines of science and technique.

The program will include invited talks, progress reports and poster presentations covering new developments that relate to both fundamental and practical problems involving X-rays and inner-shell processes induced by photons, particles or nuclear conversion.

Deadline for Submission of Abstracts, Conference Registration and Hotel reservation is
April 15, 1996.
