SeminarWorkshop about Oasys+ShadowOui simulation software, with practical examples

In the next few years, all the major synchrotron radiation facilities around the world will do major upgrades towards Diffraction Limited Storage Rings (using multi-bend-achromatic technology). At the same time, several Free Electron Lasers are ready-to-go or in phase of completion. For commissioning and operation purposes, quick but accurate software simulations will be required. Luca Rebuffi will present the efforts made so far with ShadowOUI and XOPPY (the python version of XOP) within the new OASYS framework. The Seminar will be divided in two parts: the first one as a general introduction and the second one with several practical examples. You are invited to bring your laptop with the software installed (https://goo.gl/moljBA) and to suggest your favorites examples.
