Which current density was used for your aging studies?
A (W. D.):
We used a few 106 Hz/mm2 because of the time limitation
imposed by the accelerator experiments. In order to compensate the resulting
space charge effects, the anode voltage was increased such that the gas
gain was kept at a few 104.
